STEEL IS REEL
OUR PHILOSOPHY
For us a worthy steel hardtail must have a certain feeling of ride. That seem the contrast in the industry when you see some brands making steel hardtail just for having a bike that was really tough, despite loosing the magic feels of this metal.
We have making several prototypes before what we consider to be the right compromise between toughness and comfort.
Thanks to our collaboration with the famous tube maker Reynolds, we have developed a complete set of custom tubes.
It's not only the thicknesses who was custom, but also the tube profiles who was ovalized for the top tube and seatstays to gain that slighty bit of compliance.
The result is what we consider to be the perfect hardtail, ultra-capable on descents, playful and comfortable even in the worst situations. It just needs to convince you that STEEL IS REEL is much more than just a saying.
GUARANTEE
All our frames are sold with a 3-year warranty.
We are riders first and foremost, we know how frustrating it can be to fall and break a frame without having a solution. All our frames have a lifetime crash replacement for the first purchaser and subsequent ones (subject to presentation of the original invoice).

KEY POINTS TO REMEMBER
- Steel frame: Reynolds 631 (top tube/down tube/seat tube), Reynolds 525 (seat stays/chainstays) for a clever mix of strength, comfort and weight saving.
- Ultra-versatile geometry ensuring great stability, a relatively high front end that protect you from otb while the low bb maintaining versatility and playfulness , the bike comes out of corners even faster !
- 76° seat tube angle give you ideal climbing position while being still comfortable on long and flatter days of riding.
- Short seat tube and 31.6mm seat post diameter. Ideal for putting a long travel dropper post.
- The cockpit (stack) is high to feel comfortable without having to add a large number of spacers under the stem.
- The frame is treated with an anti-rust solution, and it has a small hole under the bottom bracket to allow better water drainage and improve the life of the treatment.
- It's possible to make mullet (27.5 rear wheel). The nova is designed primarily for 29 wheels, but works well with a 27.5 rear wheel. Below are the changes to your geo if you run a 27.5" rear wheel :
head angle 1° slacker, seat tube angle 1° slacker, bottom bracket height approximately 13mm lower, reach reduced by approximately 10mm, stack approximately 10mm higher
